John “Bob” Bruner, 85, of N. Versailles died May 16, 2012. He was born in Pittsburgh on Oct. 13, 1926 and is the son of the late Charles and Alice Fleming Bruner.
He was retired from Fisher Body and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was an avid golfer and fisherman and spent the last 20 years with his wife, Irene, in North Ft. Myers, FL.
Surviving are his children; Robert (Carolyn) Bruner of Greensburg, Richard (Judy) Bruner of West Mifflin, Randall Bruner of N. Versailles, and Russell Bruner of Castle Shannon, grandchildren; Robert, Matthew, Athena, great grandchildren; Jordan, Callie, Tyler, Draven, Landon, Brother; Thomas (Kay) Bruner of Phoenix, AZ.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
Mass will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Burial will follow.
