			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>John “Bob” Bruner, 85, of N. Versailles died May 16, 2012.  He was born in Pittsburgh on Oct. 13, 1926 and is the son of the late Charles and Alice Fleming Bruner.</p>
<p>He was retired from Fisher Body and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.  He was an avid golfer and fisherman and spent the last 20 years with his wife, Irene, in North Ft. Myers, FL.</p>
<p>Surviving are his children; Robert (Carolyn) Bruner of Greensburg, Richard (Judy) Bruner of West Mifflin, Randall Bruner of N. Versailles, and Russell Bruner of Castle Shannon, grandchildren; Robert, Matthew, Athena, great grandchildren; Jordan, Callie, Tyler, Draven, Landon, Brother; Thomas (Kay) Bruner of Phoenix, AZ.</p>
<p>Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation &amp; Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Friday from 2-4 &amp; 6-8 pm.</p>
<p>Mass will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church.  Burial will follow.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Janet A. Popeck, age 72, of N. Huntingdon, formerly of McKeesport, died May 10, 2012. She was born in McKeesport on Dec. 31, 1939 and is the daughter of the late Frank Popeck and Catherine Popeck Ayers.  She was the owner of the former Jan’s Beauty Nook in McKeesport and retired from the Market District in Shadyside. She was a graduate of the John Lesko Beauty School.</p>
<p>She is survived by her sister Helen Jordanhazy of N. Huntingdon and many nieces and nephews,  great nieces and great nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Stanley and Frank Popeck.</p>
<p>Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Monday from 3:00 until 8:00 pm. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Evelyn M. Picardi, 83, of McKeesport, died May 5, 2012. Wife of the late Joseph N. Picardi. Beloved mother of Rosemary M. Picardi and Joseph R. (Marcy) Picardi. Daughter of the late Margaret Nedlock Zoscak  and Joseph Zoscak. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Anthony J. Picardi and Anne M. Picardi; a sister Rose Marie Janosic, sister in law Marge Zoscak, Wife of Evelyn’s brother the late Joseph Zoscak.</p>
<p>Evelyn worked at the former PITT Studios Inc. as an Assistant Treasurer and a Bookkeeper for PITT Studios of Ohio for 18 years. She was also a Trustee of the PITT Studios Pension Fund. She was a member of St. Angela Merici in White Oak.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Nellie “Ella” Miller Yurina, age 91, of Versailles died May 2, 2012. She was born in Coulter on July 15, 1920. She was the daughter of the late John and Ella Marie Bullion Wilson. She was preceded in death by husband Orion Miller and later husband Frank Yurina.</p>
<p>She retired from McKeesport Hospital and served in the U.S. Army during WWII, where she served three years overseas in England, France, and Germany, as a communications expert.</p>
<p>Surviving are grandchildren, Robin Miller of Plum, Andrew Miller of Glassport, and John Miller of Hollywood, FL; great granddaughter Victoria Miller and sisters Pearl Schaeffer of McKeesport and Kathleen Lewis of Altoona.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by sons, Raymond and John Miller; grandchildren, Raymond and Dawn Miller; siblings, Hazel Brvovanch, Marian Sandusky, and Jack Wilson.</p>
<p>She was a member of the Local Teamsters #205 and American Legion of White Oak.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Alphonse J. Tedesco, age 92, of White Oak died April 20, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Jean Pace Tedesco. He was born June 5, 1919 and was the son of the late Julio and Rose Tedesco.</p>
<p>He was employed for 42 ½ years at Fort Pitt Steel Casting Foundry in McKeesport. In addition he worked in other construction trades for many years. He was a man of many talents and abilities. Later he was especially proud to work with the family business, Tedesco Construction.</p>
<p>Mr. Tedesco was very proud to serve in the US Army in WW ll in the 395<sup>th</sup> Infantry, 99<sup>th</sup> Division and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He was a 50 year member of St. Angela Merici Church where he served as the head usher for the 11:00 am mass..</p>
<p>He is survived by children Alison (Arthur) Lautman of Monroeville, Gerald (Patty) Tedesco of White Oak and William A. Tedesco Szymanski of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, grandchildren Jerry (Kristen), Jonathan (Robyn), Matthew, Jamie (Bill), Michelle (Matt), Bonnie (Tom), Carrie (Bill), and Billy. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.</p>
<p>His greatest joy in life was being surrounded by his family. He was loved by all. We will miss him.</p>

Baer; daughters, Deborah (Leonard) Krotz of Elizabeth Twp.  and Joyce (David) Waratuke of McKeesport; grandchildren, Amy (Tony) Marcic of McKeesport and Rob (Chris) Waratuke; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Noah Marcic and Christopher Waratuke;  brothers, James R.
